2 Corinthians 9:20
So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making His appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Be reconciled to God!”

Jesus and His glorious Gospel are the obsession and joy of the entire Great Door Ministries team!
In 2010, the Holy Spirit directed Jes and Kristen Gray and a team of leaders to launch Great Door Ministries to partner with God’s people to invade Latin America with the Gospel. While visiting Costa Rica in 2003, the Lord spoke to Jes and said, “I am calling you and Kristen to the nations and to go back to school.” Since God revealed His love through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross rescuing us from darkness, they only had one response: “Yes, Lord!”. Then in 2009, while praying with missionary Josephine Hart in Brazil, God specifically put “Latin America” in their hearts. In 2010, after much prayer, Jes and Kristen and a team of partners launched Great Door Ministries and began pursuing God's call to missions. There is no greater honor than following the Holy Spirit wherever He leads! |

Collaborating with churches and partners in the US and Latin America, GDM teams started by providing spiritual and practical necessities to impoverished, persecuted, and unreached people in various nations. As God was forming and shaping Great Door Ministries, the Holy Spirit began to stir a greater passion for unity in the Church and an urgency for the Gospel, compelling all people to be reconciled to God. The entire GDM team is committed to this cry of God's heart, "Burn with love for Jesus, unify My people, and preach the Gospel."
As this message reaches more and more people, there will a great thanksgiving and God will receive more and more Glory (2 Cor. 4:15). Everyday Jes asks Kristen to tell him the most beautiful love story he has every heard: Though God created us in His own image, revealing Himself as the perfect Father, we turned away, disobeying our Creator. But God, out of His great love, sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sin on the cross so that we could be forgiven and reconciled to God for eternity. |
