Effective Date: 10/19/2026

At Great Door Ministries, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This SMS Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard the personal information you provide when opting in to receive text messages from us.

1. Information We Collect

When you explicitly opt-in to receive SMS notifications from us (via our website sign-up forms, physical donor slips, or verbal confirmation), we may collect:
* Your mobile phone number
* Your first and last name
* Records of your consent to receive messages

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your phone number exclusively to communicate directly with you regarding our mission work. This includes:
* Sending “Thank You” messages and donation receipts
* Sending invitations to upcoming community events, prayer gatherings, and volunteer opportunities
* Providing organizational updates related to our mission trips and projects
We will never use your information to send automated commercial marketing or spam.

3. STRICT NO-SHARING POLICY

Great Door Ministries does not sell, rent, lease, or share your personal information—including phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent data—with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Your mobile data and opt-in consent are strictly confidential and will not be shared with anyone, except for trusted third-party service providers (such as our SMS gateway vendor) solely for the mechanical purpose of delivering our text messages to you.

4. Your Choices & How to Opt-Out

You have complete control over the text messages you receive. You can unsubscribe at any time:
* To Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. After doing so, you will receive a single confirmation message stating you have been unsubscribed, and we will no longer send texts to your number.
* For Help: Reply HELP to receive support instructions, or contact us directly at (402) 208-8253.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your relationship with our organization and upcoming events.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative and technical security measures to protect your phone number and text logs from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
